SEAKNOT ANNUAL MEETING 2024
2-4 OCTOBER, PISA, ITALY
From October 2 to 4, the SEAKNOT-EU Project held its Second Annual Meeting at Università di Pisa, bringing together representatives from 17 European partners to reflect on our progress and plan for the year ahead.
The meeting began with an introduction by Luis E. Herranz (CIEMAT), who reviewed the agenda and emphasized the importance of this midpoint in the project timeline. With half the project time elapsed, the focus was on monitoring progress, addressing potential challenges, and ensuring alignment with the project’s overall objectives.
In his concluding remarks, Luis E. Herranz highlighted the sound progress achieved so far and the importance of the next six months in meeting SEAKNOT’s ambitious goals.
We were honored by the welcome address from the Dean of the Dipartimento di Ingegneria Civile e Industriale, setting the tone for three days of collaboration. A heartfelt thanks to our Advisory Board and End-Users’ Group for their valuable insights and feedback.
Here’s to another successful year of advancing severe accident research!
